How do I reserve space for a party at the pool? 

What better way to celebrate a kid’s birthday or other special event by renting the black top and picnic table area or perhaps the shady pavilion? The pool is available for your event! 

For Blacktop/picnic table area parties for under 30 people:

  • A non-refundable fee of $200  is required to reserve the blacktop and/or picnic tables for parties and functions.
  • Payment in full is required at time of reservation.
  • The number of guests for the event cannot exceed 30.
  • The event is limited to 3 hours.

For Pavillion

  • A non-refundable fee of $400  is required to reserve the Pavilion for parties and functions.
  • Payment in full is required at time of reservation.
  • The number of guests for the event cannot exceed 30.
  • The event is limited to 3 hours.

For parties over 30 people:

  • A non-refundable fee of $100 is required to reserve the area of choice (blacktop/picnic tables or pavilion).
  • A flat fee of $500 is required for large parties. This fee will cover the cost of management, lifeguards (2-3 depending on number of swimmers) and use of facilities.

What dates is the pool open?  What are the hours?  

The pool opens the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and closes on Labor Day.  During those open months, the pool is typically open 11am to 9pm.  Refer to current hours located here:

Do you have to live within the Regency Estates neighborhood to be a member?

No.  You can leave anywhere you prefer.  The pool is not limited to just nearby addresses and homes.

Is the pool owned by its members?  How do I be considered to be on the pool board?

Yes.  All board members volunteer their time in an effort to keep the pool running smoothly.  If you would like to be considered as a pool board member, please email [email protected].

Does your pool have a swimming team?  Dive team?

Yes.  RESC fields a very competitive swim and dive team.  The team is open to kids ages approximately 5 to 18.  Practices start after Memorial Day and the season ends towards the end of July.  For more information click on the Swim/Dive team page.

Is the initiation fee refunded to you when you resign your membership?

No.  This is a non-refundable fee and helps to support the pool operations.

When I resign membership, do I get the cost of the bond/certificate back?

No.  The pool will not “buy” the certificate back from you.  

Do you have social events throughout the summer for different groups of members?

Yes.  RESC has a strong lineup of social events throughout the summer.  These range from movie night to karaoke night.  We are always looking for more social opportunities so if you have any suggestions, email us at [email protected]

Does your pool have a snack shack?

Yes.  We offer drinks and snacks and a limited number of microwavable items.

What other amenities besides a pool does your pool have?

We have one of Montgomery County’s best high dive!  We also have a dual-slide feature along with a playful water bucket tower.  We also have a shaded play area, basketball hoop, ping pong table and much more.

What elementary school kids typically are members of your pool?

The primary school is Beverly Farms but RESC is not limited to just that school.  We welcome anyone and everyone regardless of the school.
