Active-Duty U.S. Military & International Diplomatic Personnel Membership Policy

Regency Estates Swim Club (RESC) welcomes active duty U.S. military personnel, international diplomats, and their families. Recognizing that these assignments are often temporary, RESC offers a modified membership option to make participation in our member-owned pool more accessible. Proof of active-duty military or diplomatic status may be required.

Under normal membership requirements, new members must pay:

  • A one-time, non-refundable Initiation Fee of $350
  • A Membership Certificate of $1,000
  • Annual dues for the applicable membership category

For eligible active-duty military and diplomatic families, the requirement to purchase a Membership Certificate may be deferred for up to three (3) years or the duration of the member’s local assignment, whichever is shorter.

During the deferral period, members are required to:

  • Pay the one-time Initiation Fee of $350
  • Pay annual dues for their applicable membership category

Deferred-certificate members enjoy full access to the pool, club activities, and swim and dive team programs. However, voting rights at membership meetings are reserved for Membership Certificate holders and are not extended during the deferral period.

To continue membership beyond the end of the assignment or the three-year deferral period, the $1,000 Membership Certificate must be purchased in full. Upon purchase of the Membership Certificate, the member receives full voting privileges.

If the Membership Certificate is not purchased by the end of the assignment or the three-year deferral period, membership and access to the Club facilities and programs will terminate.
